Mission Statement: The Hopewell Valley YMCA is a charitable organization dedicated to building a healthy spirit, mind, and body through programs which promote good health, strong families, youth leadership, and community development.  YMCA's are open to men, women, and children of all ages, abilities, races, and religions.

The Hopewell Valley YMCA is proud to serve Hopewell, Hopewell Valley, Pennington, and Titusville in New Jersey. We are a "Y without walls" meaning we operated in many different rented locations through out the area. Our main administrative offices are located at 62 South Main Street in Pennington, NJ. Our administrative staff is based here, and we accept program registrations at this location.

Camp Reign 2012

Basketball

Instructional Basketball, Grades 1-2

Emphasis on skill building and having fun.  Program is structured to run drills for the first four weeks and then begin playing games week 5-8.

Recreational Basketball League, Boys & Girls Grades 3-6

This league focuses on skill development, drills, team work, strategy and league play.  Player assessments will be held to assist in balancing teams.  Attendance at one assessments is mandatory for every player, no exceptions!  After assessments there will be a coach's draft to make fair teams.  Practices will be held once a week with games on Saturday.  Please note on registration form ONE day NOT available to practice.

League Fee: $120

  • Boys & Girls Grades 3-4
    • Participants will receive a team shirt and end of year trophy.  Practice will be held in the Admin Gym, Stony Brook, Bear Tavern, or Hopewell Elementary.  Practice location will be selected by the coach.  Games will be held at the Admin Gym on Saturday.
    • Game Dates: Saturday December 10-March 10, 2012
    • Game Schedule
  • Boys & Girls Grades 5-6
    • Participants will receive a team shirt and end of year trophy.  Practices will be held in the Admin Gym, Stony Brook, Bear Tavern, or Hopewell Elementary.  Practice location will be selected by the coach.  Playoffs & championship game will be played after regular season games.  Games will be held at Stony Brook on Saturday.

Pick Up Basketball, Boys Grades 7-10

Boys grades 7-10 will participate in practice drills followed by a game monitored by a volunteer coach.
