Teen Activities

Babysitting Basics- Ages 11-18

Babysitting is often the first job a teenager has.  This class will prepare the participant to handle finances, emergencies, play time and basic first aid and CPR. Boys and girls ages 11 and up are encouraged to attend. There will be a lot of hands on activities, crafts and role playing.  Fee includes: a certificate of participation to all who successfully complete the course and a CPR pocket mask.  Bring a lunch.  Class size is limited to 25.  Register early.

ParentingTeensOnline is the information resource for parents of teenagers. The online magazine (delivered monthly by email) and Web site offer practical, expert and parent-guided advice and information on the issues that impact families today – from MySpace, Teen Pregnancy and Prescription Drug Abuse to Getting Teens to do Chores, Handling Rude Behavior and Why Teens Don’t Listen.
