YMCA Teen Leaders Club
Grades 8-12
This club is for teens who wish to make a difference in
their community. Club activities will be centered around
four goals: Leadership Training, Personal Growth,
Service to Others and Social Development. Club participants
will have the opportunity to perform service,
socialize, travel and grow as leaders. The club is organized
and run by teens with a teen board and officers.
Members will vote on decisions affecting the club.
Volunteer opportunities may include leading classes,
serving on branch boards, mentoring YMCARE participants,
preparing meals for the homeless, clothing/supply
drives for shelters, environmental cleanups and
more. Fun club social activities may include dances,
conferences, trips and more.
The Teen Leaders Club meets once a month, not including meetings for activities/events. Volunteer Co-Advisors: Jacqueline Bailey and Jessica Heller.
To join the Leaders Club please fill out a YMCA Program Registration Form, there is no charge for this club. All Teen Leaders must be Hopewell Valley YMCA members.
